Wowies. This took me forever and a day, in all seriousness. I was going to wait until I had the finished peice up, but... I don't know what coloring it will do to it.(Especially since my coloring skills are bad!) And im quite partial to my pretty lines.. so this is what you get. Yay!
Ummm... initial sketch took about five minutes. Making it look pretty took five thousand years.
Actually it took a whole bunch of hours. :3 Hee!
Done in OC.
I'm not sure who it isss. He has a Fionne-ish look to him. And I might go with that...but not... quite. He looks a little too snarky. I had Jess~dears character, Will, in mind when I did the face. (;3)
And both Fionne and Nevo when I was working on the super "come play with me, because you know you want to" hair.
And... I'm unhappy with his body. Even though this is the first time i've actually managed decent with male anatomy... It took me forever to get his left shoulder/arm right.
But i've managed! Now bow before my growing skillz! Yush! .... er.. or just leave me nice comments? (Feedback too!!!) ;.; <33 Thank j00.
I think it looks really nice! His neck and shoulders look perfect to me and I really like that smirk of his.
I like your avatar btw, it reminds me of the band X Japan.
P.S. My colouring skills suck too

We talked all evening about the end of the world; we agreed It had nothing to do with us. And thinking about the end of the world, I waited for the world to begin.

Sometimes it seems unfair that events so old can reach forward through the years, sinking it's claws into ones life and twisting all that follows it.
This reminds me of Peter Pan, especially as illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman (see here). In fact, it's rather spot-on.
Young enough to be androgynous, and with this increadibly cocky look in his eyes -- wow. Whatever you originally meant to do, you ended up drawing Peter Pan. And Peter Pan looks awesome.
That comment made my week. Truely.
As a fan of faery tales, childrens stories.. and literature. Especially Peter Pan. It really does make me go back on the picture and take a little longer to study the expression of him.
Thank you very much, the comment was highly appreciated. As well as feedback.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
